Jerusalem at the Cairo Biennial .. Palestinian Hazem Harb: How the occupation to change our heritage?
The Palestinian artist Hazem Harb revealed his work at the Cairo International Biennale for Arts in its 13th session, which is scheduled to start tomorrow. He said that he is presenting a new artistic work for the Cairo Biennale, which he is participating for the first time, "Towards the East".
Hazem Harb, in special remarks for "the seventh day," that his work combines drawing, painting, installation and architecture, adding that his paintings revolve around Jerusalem and how can the settlements change the shape of Jerusalem?
Hazem Harb pointed out that his paintings focus on how architecture can be a colonial tool and change the shape of the city of Jerusalem and its Arab East.
The biennial Cairo International Biennale will last for two months with 80 artists from 50 countries from all over the world. The biennial will be held in three artistic sites, the Arts Complex, Aisha Fahmy Palace in Zamalek, the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art and the Palace of Arts at the Opera House.
