Investment meets JICA agency director and Japanese ambassador in Cairo

The Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation met Takima Sakamoto, Director of the Japan International Cooperation Agency [JICA] for the Middle East and Europe, in the presence of Ambassador Masaki Noki, Ambassador of Japan to Cairo.

The ministry said on its website that the meeting discussed the areas of cooperation between Egypt and the Japanese agency during the next stage.

Japan has contributed to the financing of several projects, notably the project of the Egyptian Grand Museum and the Japanese schools in Egypt, which has already signed a grant to support the educational reform and development project and the Egyptian-Japanese School Management Unit, worth LE 7.5 million. The human component, which amounted to 285 million dollars, of which 171 million dollars for schools
