The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade announced its plan in preparation for Eid al-Fitr to provide all the needs of citizens of basic commodities and food. The plan includes the holding of food industries by offering large quantities of food commodities at discount prices in all branches of consumer complexes, wholesale outlets, Flour, sugar, rice, oils, pasta, fresh meat, imported, frozen poultry, eggs, fish and herring of all kinds.

In addition, a plan was prepared in coordination with the concerned authorities for monitoring and inspection during Eid days, canceling vacations and reliefs for inspectors to carry out the food and inspection campaigns. A plan was also put in place to distribute municipal flour to municipal bakeries from warehouses and rationing mills. Mills, markets and public stores, warehouses of flour and potash, supply bunkers, and branches of the two societies "The central operation rooms of the supply departments will receive complaints and remove the causes during the Eid.

As well as increased quantities of flour fortified for municipal bakeries in all governorates to provide bread to citizens, and modify the working hours of the bakeries municipal to the previous dates that were working before the month of Ramadan to provide bread during the hours of the day with continuous follow-up of all the rationing and allow some bakeries to leave for emergencies.

The plan includes cooperation with the Ministry of Petroleum to increase the share of domestic and commercial potash at the level of the Republic to avoid any crises throughout Eid Al Fitr, with the residence of a resident inspector in each of the main warehouses to supervise the distribution, handing over the cars of graduates with intensified campaigns on street vendors, Campaigns on the stations of the supply of cars throughout the Eid, to ensure the availability of gasoline and diesel to prevent the occurrence of crises and the accumulation of citizens in front of stations.

The control campaigns will be intensified on all activities, especially the markets, to ensure the availability of food commodities, to announce their prices and their conformity with specifications, and to take legal action in case of violation, in coordination with the Supply Investigation and the Departments of Veterinary Medicine and Health Affairs to carry out joint campaigns targeting butcher shops, Sell ​​fresh fish and salted fish to ensure their validity and intensify inspection campaigns on public shops and markets to control the goods of unknown origin and expired or non-conforming specifications.
