Governor of South Sinai holds a meeting to prepare for the secondary school exams
Major General Khaldfouda, Governor of South Sinai, held a preparatory meeting to discuss the preparations of the governorate and the Directorate of Education for the secondary school exams scheduled to be held from 8/6 to 3/7/2019.
The meeting was attended by Major General Al-Rafi'i, Assistant Director of Security, Mohammad Hamed Akl, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Accountant Fawzi Hammam, Assistant Secretary-General, and a number of city heads of the governorate and the competent authorities of health, drinking water and electricity.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Governor thanked all parties for their cooperation with the Directorate during and after the exams. During the meeting, the Governor asked the heads of the cities to quickly complete the processing of the inspectors 'restrooms at the highest level and prepare the examination committees with water coolers and fans for the students' comfort.
He also called for intensifying security procedures for all committees and distribution centers of main and subsidiary questions in the governorate.
He called for taking all health measures and providing nurses within each committee and an ambulance equipped at the highest level outside the committee during the examination period. He added that an operations room has been set up in the governorate's headquarters to follow-up the situation.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry announced that 907 students will take the secondary school exams in South Sinai this year with 7 committees. He pointed out that the Directorate has completed all preparations for the General Secondary Examinations. A protocol of cooperation has been signed with a number of other bodies and directorates, In each committee of the Ministry of Health and the Electricity Authority to ensure non-interruption of electricity in the examination committees and distribution centers of questions and also with the Directorate of Supply to provide fuel for the lines of cars transfer exams and answer papers.
He added that 6 restrooms were also prepared in the cities of the governorate to receive workers in the committees of the high school exams, with a break in each of the cities of Torsina, Ras Sudr, Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Abordis and Nuweiba. The total number of delegates to the committees is 266, And equipped with all the requirements that work for the comfort of observers.
The Undersecretary thanked the Governor and the competent authorities for their support and keenness on the success and excellence of the educational process in South Sinai.
