Beni Suef Governor: Supply of 94% of the target wheat this season

The governor of Beni Suef, Hani Abdel-Jaber, announced that the total quantities of supplies supplied and sorted by shun and silos reached 180 thousand tons, 94% of the target for this season, since the beginning of the supply season mid-April until today, according to the daily report prepared by Wheat supply committee ".

The Governor explained in a statement that, despite the high temperature, the supply in the current month of Ramadan increased from 30 thousand tons in the previous year to 140 thousand tons this year, an increase of 110 thousand tons. The availability of sufficient time for farmers to supply morning and evening without problems or overcrowding, within the framework of the conservation plan that contributed to overcoming the obstacles and the control and follow-up, taking into account the interest of farmers and the spatial dimension of storage sites and cultivated areas to get out the season as required.

For his part, Mustafa Rashid, head of the wheat supply committee, pointed to the regularity of the supply and receipt of the crop smoothly and regularly without any obstacles or problems in the vicinity of the receiving and supply sites in the silos and shun, pointing to the daily follow-up of the procurement work and instructions to the committee to monitor and resolve any obstacles immediately. Farmers receive their financial dues without delay, to exit the supply season as required and according to the plan prepared by the province

The total area cultivated wheat yield in all the centers of the province is estimated at 118 thousand and 308 feddans expected productivity of up to 2 million and 129 thousand and 544 Ardab wheat, equivalent to 319 thousand and 431 tons
