Go to the Guinness Book .. See the largest castle built of sand in Germany × 10 Photos
The highest sand castle in the world was built in Germany, where 20 artists sculpted 11 thousand tons of sand, within just 10 days of its construction, which is 58 feet tall, which is very similar to the fictional cities in the conflict series of Arush.
The castle was built in the annual sand sculptures festival in Bienz, Germany, with a length of 17.66 meters and surpassed the previous world record by 98 cm. Special sand was imported from the Netherlands and was compressed by water, according to the British Daily Mail.
Organizer Thomas van Dongen was awarded the Guinness Book of Records for his creativity, which lasted 10 days and twenty artists and 11 thousand tons of sand for construction.
The competition has been held annually since 2010, but this year's winning group had to wait several years to break the world record and open the castle to the public, which can be seen in the exhibition of sand sculptures in Germany.
