German government calls for access to voice assistance data for smartphones

The German government has asked mobile operators to allow them to access mobile phone voice recorder registrations such as Siri and Alexa, in order to fight crime and solve many mysterious murder cases.
"It is very important that the federal authorities and the authorities of the country have access to the data collected by these devices," a spokesman for the German Interior Ministry said at a press conference called "Fighting Crime Effectively."
The spokesman added that the German government recognizes the privacy and encryption rights, but it is inevitable to maintain security within the country, and the government intends to discuss the issue at next week's meeting.
He pointed out that the government's policy over the past 20 years provides that encryption is not compromised, and any attempt to weaken it is prevented. The ideas presented are certainly contrary to this, but the government intends to look at the recordings only in the most extreme necessities..
