The project is characterized by being equipped with all the necessary facilities to serve ships and goods from fire fighting pumps, salt water, drainage of rain to areas and places to feed the ships with fresh water and the possibility of supplying ships with electricity within the OPS system which is unique to Damietta port between the ports of the eastern Mediterranean and places dedicated to receiving sewage and oil wastes It will also contribute to the possibility of loading and unloading oil and molasses. This station will contribute to reducing the waiting time for ships outside the port, increasing the volume of cargo handled, increasing the types and sizes of vessels and increasing storage areas inside the port.
