A US judge is constantly ruling Washington's case against Facebook
A US judge has rejected Facebook's request to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the US attorney general for the social networking of 87 million users, Cambridge Analytica.
According to Reuters, the US capital filed a lawsuit on Facebook in December, accusing it of misleading users, because it was aware of the breakthrough for two years before disclosure, and allowed third-party application manufacturers to access user information without their consent.
The judge said in a brief statement on its website that Judge Fern Flanagan Sadler signed the order to reject Facebook's request.
It was the second legal blow to the world's most famous social network after a Delaware judge ordered e-mail to shareholders and other records about its handling of data privacy, also linked to the Cambridge Analytic scandal.
