The Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (EESC) will hold a seminar on Monday, "What is happening in the Egyptian financial market, a sectoral crisis or a mirror of economic performance?"

Mr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, Hany Tawfiq, former Chairman of the Egyptian and Arab Direct Investment Associations, Hani Barzi, Chairman of Edita Food Industries Company, Ahmad Abu Al Saad, Chairman of Rasmala Investment Funds and Securities Portfolios, Latif Executive Director and Research Director of the Center.

Dr. Abla Abdul Latif said that the capital market suffers from a failure in performance and no one knows the reasons for this confusion, is it due to crises related to the same sector? Or crises related to the economy as a whole? The seminar will be attended by a number of specialists, especially in the presence of the proposals of the government companies on the stock exchange, the Egyptian Stock Exchange chairman, private sector experts and investment companies, stressing the interest of the center to discuss important economic issues and to produce conclusions and recommendations for the issues discussed.
