The expansion of the infrastructure for the transport, handling and storage of fuel, upgrading its efficiency and adding new energies to the country's overall development strategy and achieving a boom in the infrastructure is beneficial to all governorates of Egypt. It is one of the main axes of the strategy of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Fuel to consumers in the local market, and transforming Egypt into a regional center for the trading and trading of gas and petroleum.

The most important of these projects, which were as follows ..

1. Accelerate the implementation of 10 new projects for oil and gas pipelines.

2 – 3 projects to increase storage capacity in the Delta, Upper Egypt, Greater Cairo, New Administrative Capital, Suez and Ain Sokhna, which total investment cost of about 5.6 billion pounds in addition to about 646 million dollars.

3. All these projects will enter into service in 2019.

4 – contribute to increase the efficiency of transport of fuel supplies to the provinces and feed power stations.

5- The second phase of the project of storage and trading of petroleum products is currently under operation at Sumeid Port in Al-Hassanah.

6 – The operation of the second phase of the project of storage and handling of petroleum products at the port of Sumed in Sokhna includes 3 tanks for storage of fuel oil with a total capacity of 105 thousand cubic meters.

7- The second stage of the project of storage and trading of petroleum products at Sumid Port in Ein El-Sokhna represents a new addition to the Sommed Bio project, which has been working efficiently since last year to receive and store the potagaz.

8- The project of storage and handling of petroleum products at Sumid Port in Ain El-Sokhna includes a new marine berth in the port, bringing the total investment cost of the project at two stages to about 415 million dollars.

9. The Sonker project in Ain Sokhna is currently under way. It will include 6 storage tanks for diesel and potash with a capacity of 250,000 cubic meters and two transmission lines at an investment cost of $ 220 million.

10- Implementation of 4 new tanks for diesel and petrol in Suez Company for the manufacture of petroleum at a cost of LE 55 million.
