Dr. Ali Abdel-Al, President of the House of Representatives, raised the plenary session on Monday after approving a draft law submitted by the government on the issuance of the law establishing the financing body for science, technology and innovation, in total, with the call for a next meeting tomorrow.

The draft law includes the establishment of a public body for the financing of science, technology and innovation, which will be followed by the Minister of Scientific Research, based in Cairo Governorate, and the right to establish other branches throughout the Republic,.

The plenary session also witnessed today, the Chamber of Deputies rejected the request submitted by the Attorney General to lift the parliamentary immunity from Rep. Reza Nasif, member of the House of Representatives in Beheira governorate, to take legal action in the communication against him..

The Attorney-General has filed a request to lift the immunity of MP Reza Nassif in case 3681 for the year 2018 delinquents Department of Damanhur, and related to the charge of the deputy by a citizen of the race and slander in a fight.
