The Cabinet holds its second meeting to discuss the draft law on reconciliation of building violations

The committee formed to discuss the draft executive regulations of Law No. 17 of 2019 regarding reconciliation in some building violations and legalization of its conditions, held its second meeting.
Engineer Nafisa Hashim, First Undersecretary of the Ministry, Head of Housing and Utilities Sector, and Rapporteur of the Committee: During the meeting reviewed the articles of the draft executive regulations of the law prepared by the committee formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Housing and are being prepared for submission to the Prime Minister.
He explained that the draft executive regulation consists of 18 articles, which include clarifying the acts that prohibit reconciliation, the methods of proving the date of committing the violation, the mechanism by which the population blocs adjacent to the urban blocks of cities and villages and their dependencies will be determined. The documents required to apply for conciliation and the legalization of the situation, the mechanism of work of the committee entrusted with the examination and decision of applications, and the procedures taken in the case of accepting or rejecting the request for conciliation. In order to clarify all the procedures specified in the law, forms were prepared for the request for reconciliation and the required engineering reports, the decisions to accept and reject the application, and the notifications. Which will be directed to the applicant.
