Major General Gamal Nouruddin, Governor of Assiut, stressed the importance of coordination between the directorates of veterinary medicine, health and supply to conduct periodic and intensive campaigns on shops and markets selling meat and fish to ensure their validity for consumption.

The Governor of Assiut stressed in a statement that all legal measures are taken against violators and the execution of non-valid goods in order to protect the public health. He pointed out the establishment of an integrated plan for all service sectors in preparation for Eid al-Fitr, especially regarding the management of citizens' needs of goods and services.

Deputy Director of the Ministry of Supply in Assiut, Mohamed Ismail, said that a plan has been put in place to include four axes (Bakeries, Mills, Petroleum Products, Potatoes, and other commodities).

He stressed the necessity of providing necessary commodities during Eid and at appropriate prices in coordination with the public and private sector companies and the Egyptian wholesale trade company affiliated to the Ministry of Supply, as well as monitoring the quality of these various commodities, especially the demand during the Eid period in all markets, shops, bakeries and mills.

The Governor of Assiut said that seminars, sports courses, competitions and Ramadan evenings were organized during the holy month of Ramadan in all the youth centers spread throughout the governorate, adding that the Directorate of Youth and Sports in the governorate has carried out many activities and programs in accordance with the possibilities available to develop the abilities of youth and exploit their energies.

He stressed the interest of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, the President of the Republic, in the exercise of youth for sport and the preservation of their health and inviting them to participate in seminars and cultural activities, social and awareness in particular, which develops the spirit of belonging and citizenship and active participation and positive.

The deputy minister of youth and sports in Assiut said that an integrated plan was implemented in the sectors (youth, sports, activities, parliament and civil education, the vanguards) during the holy month pointing to the regular organization in the five football and a Ramadan tournament in volleyball for girls and table tennis boys and girls As well as 169 religious seminars at the youth centers, as well as the national project for beginners in the games (wrestling, boxing, weight lifting, and giddo) and a national project for pioneers (elderly) and sports in social welfare institutions.
