Sherif Ekrami performs knee surgery in Germany and qualifies in Ahli

By Nidal al-Mughrabi GAZA [Reuters] – Sherif Ekrami, goalkeeper of Al Ahli, underwent knee-lift surgery in Germany on Saturday.

Ekrami is scheduled to complete the first phase of treatment in Germany and will return to complete the treatment in Cairo for 4 weeks after which he can participate in the team exercises gradually.

Al Ahly players were given an open leave and the technical staff decided when the players would return for training later.
