The General Directorate of Traffic has directed several traffic campaigns to achieve discipline and to apply the traffic laws and regulations to motorists and to control those who violate them, especially during driving on highways.
Traffic management efforts over the last 24 hours resulted in the seizure of 5 thousand and 10 traffic violations, including 1936 violations exceeding the speed limit. The Department also seized 24 cases of driving under the influence of narcotic substances and took the necessary legal measures against them, while continuing traffic campaigns to control traffic violations.
