Renewing the detention of members of a terrorist group and the abuse of communication sites 15 days
The Supreme State Security Prosecution has renewed 15 days of remand in the investigation, which is being conducted with them by the prosecution, accusing them of joining a terrorist group, contrary to the provisions of the law, and using social media sites to spread false news.
The accused charged Ziad Abu al-Fadl and Radwan Ahmed. The prosecution charged the accused in case 1739 of 2018 with confining the security of a superior state to the charge of crimes involving the participation of a terrorist group in achieving its objectives, receiving financing for terrorist purposes and participating in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist crime. Financing and participating in a criminal agreement, gathering and using special accounts on the International Information Network, with the aim of committing a crime punishable by law with a view to disturbing public order.
