Spanish club Real Madrid announced the signing of Belgian Chelsea boss Eden Hazard with a five-year contract ending in June 2024.

Eden Hazard became the fifth player in Chelsea's history to move from the Blues to Real Madrid where he has been accustomed to the best Blues since the transfer of ownership of the English club to Roman Abramovich and turned him into one of the strongest clubs in the world in the new millennium.

Earlier, Hazzard came to Real Madrid with Belgian goalkeeper Typo Curtua, Ghana midfielder Maeky Essien, Portugal defender Ricardo Carvalho and Dutchman Arjen Robben, alongside Jose Mourinho, the historical manager of the Blues who oversaw the Royal Club.

Spanish media reports revealed that the transfer of Hazard to Real Madrid cost the king 100 million euros.
