Preventive Medicine Continues the campaigns of food monitors on meat and food plants
The Department of Preventive Medicine in the Ministry of Health and Population, the continuation of food control departments of the directorates of health affairs in the governorates of the Republic to intensify campaigns on food facilities throughout the days of Eid al-Fitr.
The campaigns include traffic to food factories, supermarket chains, and stores, as well as the availability of health requirements for food handling places, and the withdrawal of samples of food offered especially meat, fish, frozen products and juices.
It is noted that the food inspectors have judicial control to enable them to release the records to the violators and refer them to the investigation bodies, as well as the closure of food facilities or the suspension of licenses.
