Postponement of the trial of 32 accused of cell "Helwan microbes" for July 13
The Cairo Criminal Court, headed by Judge Hussein Kandil, decided to postpone the trial of 32 accused in the case known as the media of the "Helwan Microbus" cell, which resulted in the assassination of an officer and seven police officers in Helwan for the July 13 hearing of the defense case.
The prosecution charged the accused with several charges including joining a terrorist group established contrary to the provisions of the law and the constitution, possession of weapons and explosives, carrying out a number of terrorist operations, murdering police officers, assassinating an officer and seven policemen from the Helwan police station, , And the killing of Brigadier Fahmi "head of the traffic unit Almnib", and the recruiter accompanying him, and set fire to his car, and the assassination of the police secretary Ahmed Fawy "of the force of the Department of Traffic Giza" in the amount of Al-Marazeeq, armed robbery at Helwan post office, and theft of 82 thousand pounds on 6 April 2016.
