Launch of the largest city of therapeutic tourism in the Middle East and Africa in Badr City

Eng. Ammar Mandour, Chairman of the Badr City Authority, said that the implementation of the largest medical city for therapeutic tourism in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa will start with investments estimated at LE 20 billion.

The head of the agency said in a press statement on Friday that 90% of the project's investment is Egyptian, and the preliminary inspection of the project site was carried out. The medical city will provide the latest in medical science in the world and modern techniques in medical devices. The medical city has 13 specialized medical institutes with a capacity of 2,000 beds, a flying ambulance, an educational hospital, natural healing gardens and a medicinal plant nursery.

The head of the NTRA said that he gave his instructions to all departments concerned to end all necessary procedures and to facilitate all that is required of the project because it is considered a national project in Egypt and will provide many job opportunities for the youth and the people of the city in particular. in the city.

Dr. Mohammed Sulaiman, Secretary General of Badr University and Madinah Medical City, said that the city will be managed by the latest management systems in the world to provide good service to the Egyptian and foreign patients, adding that 10% of the family will be allocated to treat the needy of Egyptian citizens.

He added that the area of ​​the project is 109 acres, and the medical service will be started in the first phase of the project, 30 months after the start of implementation, noting that the completion of the project in full after 5 years from the start of implementation, The project management will employ the largest foreign companies and expertise in the management of the city in the first 5 years, in addition to the Egyptian expertise abroad, until the training of Egyptians doctors, employees and workers of the project.
