Governor of South Sinai honors the memorizers of the Holy Quran on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr

Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, honored the memorizers of the Holy Quran during the celebration held by the Directorate of Awqaf in South Sinai, at Al-Salam Mosque in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Where the governor gave the evening prayers, and Taraweeh, and then began to celebrate the verses of the Holy Quran, the reader Sheikh Mohammed Al-Fashni, and then preferred the Koran to Sheikh Mohammed Rajab Abdul Dayem, Imam Mosque Sahaba.

Sheikh Jalal Sharif, the Undersecretary of the Endowments Directorate, announced the winners of the contest, with 1550 contestants, 549 of whom competed. According to the Koran, 58 contestants were offered to the Qur'an, 50 of whom were contestants. 88 contestants, offering 1306 contestants a quarter of the race, 360 of whom were contestants.

The Governor handed over the certificates of appreciation and financial rewards with a total of 50 thousand pounds, in-kind gifts for the distinguished and presented his journey to the age of the first winner in the custody of the Koran Fatima Mahrous Mohammed Azzam, and her mother, and a businessman to provide a reward for the outstanding.

The governor said that he is very pleased to honor the Holy Quran, announcing the opening of the elevator in June, in the presence of the Minister of Awqaf, and the transformation of the cultural center of the International Islamic Training Center.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Mahmood al-Suwaili, Chairman of the Sharm el-Sheikh City Council, Sheikh Ismail al-Rawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf, Major General Mahmoud Issa, Commissioner for Projects and Major General Khaled Metwally, Advisor to the Governor for Grants and Development, and a group of Awqaf imams, Investors and a minority of Sharm el-Sheikh residents.
