Governor of Qena: Supply of 168 thousand and 768 tons of wheat for sheep and silos by 89%

Major General Abdul Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qena, announced the resumption of the supply of wheat to Shoun and silos inside the Governorate Department, after stopping on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
Al-Hajan pointed out that so far, 168 thousand and 768 tons of wheat have been supplied by 89% of the target of this season, amounting to 190 thousand tons, pointing out that the quantities supplied so far exceeded what was supplied last year and is expected to achieve the target Before the end of the season on July 15.
Al-Hajan stressed that efforts to develop wheat cultivation have played a major role in increasing the productivity of feddan and thus increase the quantities supplied this year, which confirms the country's quest to achieve self-sufficiency of this strategic crop either through the reclamation of new lands or through the cultivation of new strains characterized by resistance Climate change and high productivity per feddan.
