Governor of Giza honors 40 children from memorizers of the Holy Quran

Brigadier General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, Major General Mustafa Shehata, Deputy Minister of Interior for the Giza Security Sector, and Dr. Amin Abdel Wawad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in Giza, honored 40 children from the memorizers of the Holy Quran in the governorate. .

Rashed handed over the material prizes and certificates of appreciation to the winning students, who ranged in age from 7 to 12 years, during the celebration held by the Directorate of Awqaf in Al-Mahrousa Mosque in Al-Ajouza to celebrate the last of the month of Ramadan and the night of fate .

Rashed stressed that the competition for memorizing the Holy Quran was offered to more than 1000 contestants from the memorizers of the Holy Quran. The selection was made through a specialized jury of leading scholars. The contestants were divided into four levels. They memorized the Holy Quran in whole or in half or one quarter or five parts of it. .

The Governor of Giza congratulated the audience on the holy month of Ramadan and called upon the Almighty to restore these blessed days and our beloved Egypt with good, progress and prosperity. He expressed his happiness with his participation in this celebration to honor his students.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Alaa Badran, Assistant Secretary General, the heads of districts, centers and cities, directorates of service directorates, heads of inspection, inspection and service, and representatives of the Directorate of Giza Awqaf .

The celebration witnessed the speech of Sheikh Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in Giza, during which he spoke about the virtue of the night of fate and its great impact on the Muslims and how to benefit from this penalty and use it to win the paradise is better than a thousand months, a night of freedom from the fire and forgiveness of sins to the worshipers of God fasting .

The winners of the memorization of the Holy Quran were students Abdulrahman Bashir, Mohammed Sayed, Rana Mamdouh, Meshira Kamel, Osama Sayed, Jihan Moussa, Mustafa Abdel Ghani, Eman Tariq, Issam Abdel Ghani and Islam Tariq.

He also won prizes for memorizing half of the Holy Quran: Tasnim Imad, Umm Kulthum Farid, Aisha Abu Bakr, Jan Mamdouh, Sarah Sobhy, King Ezz El Din, Rana Reda, King Hassan, Azza Ahmed and Rahma Ismail.
