LONDON (Reuters) – England's Liverpool have returned to the Champions League again after a 14-year absence since their last crown at the expense of AC Milan.
Liverpool managed to win the title of the Champions League for the sixth time in their history at the expense of Tottenham after winning a 2-0 win at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, home of Atletico Madrid.
The Reds became the third most European club to win the title with 6 titles, behind Real Madrid 13 titles and Milan 7 titles, starting his career with titles at the expense of Munchengladbach in 1977.
