Financial supervision receives 41 grievances during 2018 and 15 files considered by the dispute settlement committees

The RTA received 41 grievances in 2018, distributed among 39 grievances in the capital market for 30 grievances in 2017, and one in insurance and one in real estate finance, said Advisor Reda Abdel-Moaty, vice chairman of the Financial Supervisory Authority.

He added that the Committee on Dispute Resolution held three meetings in the field of insurance and financing activities, considered 15 files divided into 11 files in the property branch, 3 files in the branch of life, and one file in the branch mediators.

The decision of the Minister of Investment No. 23 of 2015 regulates the formation of committees for the consideration of grievances and the settlement of disputes by considering the grievances submitted by the insurance brokers against the administrative decisions issued pursuant to the provisions of the Insurance Supervision and Control Law 10 of 1981 and its amendments related to insurance brokerage activity, Which arise between insurance companies and insurance intermediaries or between insurance brokers and some related to insurance brokerage activity.
