Egyptian Games Federation: Programs to develop electronic games in the first regular tournament
The electronic games tournament to be organized in mid-August will focus on programs to develop electronic games as part of the presidential initiative, in which the Union participates in the training of 10 thousand programmers and developers of Egyptian and African games.
On the other hand, Abdul Baqi revealed in special statements for the "seventh day", the existence of other agreements with international companies to hold a seminar and teams to simplify programming for children who have the hobby of making games in the framework of the promotion of the gaming industry in Egypt.
The government, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology [MCIT], is seeking to create 100 African startups through the Presidential initiative to train 10,000 young Egyptians and Africans to develop games and digital applications using the latest technologies.
The initiative aims to train youth over a period of three years. The duration of the initiative is about 3,000 young people annually. Over the past few years, a number of ideas have emerged. These have turned into successful start-ups such as Swifl, Térila and Hala and some other applications. And ITIDA Entrepreneurship for many youth ideas.
