The Directorate of Agriculture in Sharkia announced the implementation of the national campaign against rodents after the removal of winter crops .

Engineer Alaa Afifi, Undersecretary of the Ministry, said that the plan is implemented by the Rodent Control Department in the Directorate and its departments under the supervision of Engineer Zakaria Taaima, Director of the Department, appealing to the farmers in collaboration with the directors of the agricultural associations and rodents engineers. .

The plan includes infestation sites and rodents in public utilities, including "canal and canal bridges, railways, poultry farms and the agricultural land."
