Completion of the removal of slums in Sharabia and the transfer of 400 families to Al Mahrousa 1 project

The Cairo Governorate has resumed the removal of the old Hakkar-Sakkini area in Sharabia as part of the State's plan to develop slums and provide adequate housing and security for citizens.

The governor of Cairo, Major General Khaled Abdel-Aal, confirmed that the governorate authorities have completed the removal of the random areas immediately after the end of the holidays of Eid al-Fitr in the old areas of Al-Hakar in Sharabia as well as the tanneries area in ancient Egypt.

The governor pointed out that 10 properties were removed in the old area of ​​Hakkar and the transfer of its population of 60 families and handing over alternative housing units project Mahrousa 1, bringing the total number of families transferred to about 400 families so far with integrated units of services safe and fully furnished with furniture and electrical appliances.
