Mei Hisham, leader of Al Ahly's handball team, announced that she had retired from the game after applying to the technical staff and management.

Mei Hisham said she had submitted the request for retirement to the technical staff and was approved due to special circumstances.

She stressed that she loves handball a lot and seeks to enter the world of training the game during the next stage, after having achieved many tournaments of the Red Fort at the local level.
