Asyut new agency warns citizens of closing social housing apartments and not exploiting them
The new city of Assiut has warned citizens of the social housing project in the new city of Assiut to violate Law No. 93 of 2018. Article 4 stipulates that the beneficiary shall abide by a housing unit of the social housing units by using it for housing and by his family on a regular and permanent basis for at least 7 years. The new city of Assiut said in a statement: "It is also prohibited for the beneficiaries of residential units to dispose of them or to deal with them or any part of them in any kind of conduct and transactions before the stipulated period has passed. Accordingly, the social housing units are prohibited from closing residential units, Use, deal with or lease them, act as an agent, act any act whatsoever or change the activity of the residential unit. "
The statement added: "The judicial inspectors will make surprise campaigns on social housing projects to ensure the application of the law and citizens to immediately report any of the above and according to the second paragraph of article 19 of the same law that punishes anyone who violates the third paragraph of the Article 4 and 5 shall be punishable by a term of not less than one year and a fine not less than 20,000 Egyptian pounds and not exceeding 100,000 Egyptian pounds or one of these two penalties.
