Algeria defender: We will do the impossible to return the African Cup from Egypt
Youssef Attal, Algeria defender, said he would do his best to help the Algerian people get the African Nations Cup, which Egypt will host from June 21 to July 19.
"The morale is high and we feel that all the players want to make the addition, and God willing we will give all our energy to honor the Greens during the next finals," Youssef Attal told Algeria's An-Nahar newspaper.
"To win the African Nations Cup is the goal of everyone, and this is something that I'm honored to have," he added. "God willing, we offer the best as a group and go far in Alcan."
The Algerian Football Federation announced that the Algerian team will arrive in Cairo on June 18 on a private plane of Algerian Airways, to participate in the African Nations Cup.
Algeria will play two friendly matches on the sidelines of the training camp to be held in Qatar, the first against Burundi on June 11, while the second will be held on the 16th of the month against Mali, before traveling to Egypt.
Algeria will play in Group C of the African Cup of Nations with Senegal, Kenya and Tanzania.
