Dr. Ali Abdel-Al raised the plenary session of the lower house of parliament on Sunday after approving four draft laws in its entirety. The council will return to the meeting on Monday noon.

The Council approved at its meeting today 4 bills submitted by the government as a whole, and postponed the final approval for next Tuesday's session, as it is a law complementary to the Constitution, and need the approval of two-thirds of the members of the Council.

The projects approved by the deputies today include the amendment of the Supreme Constitutional Court Law and the draft submitted by the government to amend some of the provisions of the Administrative Prosecution Law No. 117 of 1958, the Law of the State Cases Authority No. 75 of 1963, the Military Judiciary Law No. 25 of 1966, Law No. 47 of 1972, Law No. 182 of 1960 on the Control of Drugs and the Regulation of their Use and Trafficking, and a bill to increase pensions by 15% with a minimum of LE 150 and a minimum pension of 900 LE.
