6 cases of fraud using mobile in the examination of Arab and religion for high school
The exams of the first round of the general secondary school graduation certificate for the current academic year 2018/2019 started this morning, with 615348 students taking the exam in the Arabic language (first period) in 1817 exam committees at the level of the Republic.
During the second period, the students took the exam in Islamic religious education with a total of 563691 students, and in the Christian religious education with a total of 37065 students.
Khalid Al-Hakim, Director General of the General Administration of Examinations and Vice-President of the exam, said that all the stages of the General Secondary Examinations examinations are fully insured from the printing of the questions, through transferring them to the distribution centers.
He added that the atmosphere of the exam during the first day went well and disciplined and without any problems that would disturb the examination process, where the Central Operations Room before the start of the exam to be assured the arrival of question papers to all examination committees in the provinces.
The operations room received several observations. The Anti-Fraud Team monitored several cases of cheating using mobile phones, in the administration of the Educational Park in Alexandria Governorate, the Department of Sakhalta, Al Balina Governorate in Sohag Governorate, Damietta New Educational Administration in Damietta Governorate, Al-Khalifa and Mokattam in Cairo Governorate and the Abu Tig Educational Administration in Assiut Governorate. The students responsible for this were identified and the necessary legal procedures were taken in these cases.
The operation room in the governorate of Kafr El-Sheikh observed that some students at the Martyr Mohammed Lotfi Al-Ashry Secondary School for Boys had organized a riot during the examination of the Arabic language in the committee and attempted fraud by using the mobile phone. The police were summoned and the students were arrested. And (g) and the work of a record of proof of the case and take the necessary legal action.
It is worth mentioning that on Monday, June 10, 2019, high school students will perform their exams in the subjects of economy and statistics with a total number of (595344) students, while students of high school (blind) will perform on Sunday, Exam in Article (Arabic Language – Second Paper).
