Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Sohag, held a meeting to follow up the development of Al-Aref Bellah Square in the West Sohag district, as it is a historical field linking several major traffic axes in the governorate.

The governor of Sohag, in a statement, asked the beneficiaries of the Arif region to give priority to benefiting from the project, especially the youth, pointing out that the development work at a cost of 4 million pounds, within the investment plan for the West District.

Ansari said that a traffic plan has been set up with the Traffic Department of Sohag to achieve the required traffic liquidity in that area, especially as it coincides with the plan to establish the Culture Square Bridge.

Farida Salam, head of West Sohag district, said the development will include the construction of 47 commercial stores in the area of ​​the Aram district, as well as the development and beautification of the field through the installation of electronic screens and the annexation of the mosque square. 200 square meters.

The meeting was attended by Engineer Barhoum Ali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing in the Governorate, Colonel Mustafa Ibrahim, Director of Traffic Department Sohag, Farida Salam, head of West Sohag District, Laila Al Shaimi, Director General of Planning and Follow-up in the Governorate.
