The GDP of agriculture reaches 676 billion in 20/19 of the government plan submitted to parliament

The Government of Dr. Mustafa Madbouli took great interest in the economy of the agricultural sector by achieving a steady increase in investments directed to the sector and improving its performance and raising its productive efficiency by rationalizing the uses of inputs and improving productivity to maximize value added.

The plan of the government of Dr. Mustafa Medbouli, which handed it to parliament, aims to increase agricultural production from 696.5 Billion pounds in 17/2018 at current prices to944.7 Billion pounds at the end of 19/2020 at a growth rate17.8%.

The plan estimated the increase in agricultural production at constant prices at the end of 19/2020 611.8Billion pounds compared to about 574.8Billion in 17/18 recording a growth rate of 3 and 2%.

The plan also aims to achieve agricultural output at current prices of 586.6Billion pounds in 18/19 "and reaches to 676.3 Billion pounds at the end of 19/2020 compared to about 498.1Billion pounds in 17/18 at rates ranging from15.3% And17.8% Agricultural output is calculated after excluding intermediate inputs from agricultural production.

The plan targets the gross domestic product [GDP] at constant prices for agriculture and irrigation 437.8Billion by the end of 19/2020 compared to about 424Billion pounds in 18/19, achieving a growth rate3.2%.
