Events of the day .. Conference of the return of the Cairo Biennale and Naguib Mahfouz symposium at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina
A number of cultural and artistic events in various sectors will be held today, Sunday, June 9th, and we will review them in the coming lines.
The Fine Arts Sector organizes a press conference at 6:00 pm at the Supreme Council of Culture to announce the details of the activities of the 13th session of the Cairo International Biennial.
On the occasion of Egypt's presidency of the African Union, the Cinema of Civilization will be held at the Egyptian Opera Square at 5 pm. A new event will be held under the theme "African literature – the spirit of the continent".
The documentary film "Room for a man", in the center of the cultural trail 1718, within the program of the Center for Shahrionio, and the film screenplay and directed by Antoni Chidiac.
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, at the Auditorium, will organize a meeting on the Egyptian international writer Naguib Mahfouz with the participation of a Spanish delegation consisting of 80 individuals. The meeting will be moderated by Mounir Otaiba, Director of the Sardat Laboratory at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Lamasat Gallery will open the exhibition "Hands of the Unbelievable" for people with special needs at 7:00 pm. The exhibition is scheduled to last until 13 June. The exhibition will include a group of artists who are handicapped by different artistic trends from age 6 to 30.
The Gallery of Egypt in Zamalek will host an exhibition entitled "Red White Black" by the sculptor Moataz Nasr at 7:00 pm. The exhibition will last until June 23rd.
