Qatar Stock Exchange (QE) closed lower on the back of the downward pressure on the goods and communications sectors

Qatar Exchange fell 0.24%, or 23.57 points, to close at 9,982.49 points.

Trading on the Doha bourse opened at 11.5 million shares at a value of 187.5 million Qatari riyals through 7240 transactions. 17 shares gained and 19 declined.

The Insurance sector rose 0.83%, followed by the Banks and Financial Services sector by 0.79%, followed by the Transportation sector by 0.70%, followed by the Services sector by 1.43%, followed by the Telecommunications sector by 1.28% , Followed by real estate by 0.11%.
