The development work within the Tanta Museum includes the renovation of the museum building, its structural treatment and the development of two new display latrines. The Scenario Screening Committee has also changed its presentation scenario. The development plan includes a scenario for displaying the museum in a new way to highlight the artifacts that are already in the best form, For different historical eras. The display of the exhibition is divided into two parts. The first section includes the archaeological discoveries of the excavations that were carried out in Gharbia Governorate. The second section includes pieces that symbolize daily life, resurrection and immortality.
The museum building consists of five floors, the first floor of the services, the second and the third floor to display the various artifacts, the fourth floor is dedicated to the administrative offices of the museum staff, and the fifth floor is a lecture and conference hall.
