Diaa Rashwan calls for hosting Egypt for next year's conference of "Arab journalists"

Egyptian reports

Diaa Rashwan, the Egyptian Journalists' Syndicate, has asked Egypt to host the next conference of the Union of Arab Journalists, adding that Cairo will be the largest media platform to redefine the union.

"If the next conference is not like any conference, I will nominate Cairo, and if we get to the conference next year and the state of the union remains as it is, I withdrew my candidacy," Rashwan said during a speech to the meeting of the General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Journalists. "He said.

"If we are talking about a new start to the union, I strongly urge the Arab Republic of Egypt to nominate the country that witnessed the first birth of the union to witness its second birth. The hosting will be comprehensive and will be at the expense of the Egyptian union," he said.
