On Friday, the Health Directorate of Aswan Governorate organized a free medical convoy to citizens in a number of remote areas as part of the initiative to provide free medical services to citizens, despite high temperatures throughout the governorate..

Dr. Ihab Hanafi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Aswan, said that the medical convoy targeted the two-day free screening in Al-Mahmudiya district of Aswan city. The medical examination was performed on 1,392 citizens in various medical specialties, in addition to conducting 228 medical examinations and dispensing.

The Ministry of Health in Aswan said that the convoy also targeted health education seminars for more than 390 women at the site. She also gave a detailed explanation of the summer diseases, the most prominent symptoms of children suffering from fever, and a brief explanation on the diseases of women, birth control and the importance of breastfeeding.
