24 customs violations and expired goods during a campaign in Barani city in Matruh

A supply campaign of inspectors of the Department of Supervision, Matrouh Catering Directorate, in coordination with the Department of Supply Investigation, managed to control 24 miscellaneous supply violations and to control expired goods that are not suitable for human consumption in the shops and markets of Sidi Barani.

The violations included the supply and sale of expired food items that are not suitable for human consumption. They include 924 packets of biscuits, cake and cheese, as well as non-usable henna cosmetics and irregularities related to some municipal bakeries operating in the city. Or the violations of the non-cleanliness of the kneading and bagging tools used in the production of municipal bread, the production of bread that is not conforming to specifications and irregularities, and the seizure of sales violations more than the price scheduled for shipping cards and cigarettes and violations of non-advertising prices of goods for sale in shops.

The seizure of expired goods has been reserved and the minutes have been recorded in the competent police department, to be presented to the Public Prosecution for consideration and disposal
